We have a small but personable staff and friendly environment that ensures that you and your pet see the same people every time so you don’t have several people handling your account or your pet.

Kevin Meenen - DVM
Dr. Kevin Meenen grew up in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2006. He began his career working for two years at a mixed-animal practice prior to joining Prairie Creek Veterinary Hospital. He and his wife Mia have a son and a daughter who are currently occupying Mia’s time away from her own veterinary career. Kevin enjoys circle-track racing, motorcycle riding and other outdoor activities. Dr. Meenen is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dennis Meenen - DVM
Dr. Dennis Meenen is a native of Northwest Arkansas and a graduate of the University of Arkansas and the University of Missouri-Columbia with Bachelors, Masters and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. Dr. Meenen graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978 with honors and has been in private practice since graduation. He is enjoying his semi-retirement by planting native prairie grasses, welding and motorcycle riding. Dr. Meenen is a member of the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Sarah Weisiger - Receptionist
Originally from Oklahoma, Sarah has been our receptionist since 1990. She is a long-time resident of the Rocky Branch area of Beaver Lake. She enjoys cooking, reading and films. She has a dog Sybil, whom you often see behind the reception desk, and two cats that keep her busy at home.
Ceci McClintock - Surgical Assistant
A resident of War Eagle, Ceci began as the kennel manager but quickly moved to surgical assistant. She is an animal lover who manages a small hobby farm of dogs, cats, chickens and guinea hens. She enjoys kayaking and all things outdoors.
Michael Sprenkle - Groomer
Michael was born in York, Pennsylvania and began his animal career with the York County SPCA. He then worked as a veterinary technician before moving to Rochester, New York where he attended the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming and became a certified groomer. After three years in the grooming field he received his grooming teacher’s license and became a grooming instructor. He then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he was voted “Best Groomer of the Year” in the Phoenix NU Times. Fortunately for us, he and his partner Steve moved to Northwest Arkansas giving us the opportunity to showcase his talents in our area.
